Dr. Rajkumar Buyya
Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems (CLOUDS) Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia. He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft Pty Ltd., a spin-off company of the University, commercialising its innovations in Cloud Computing. He has served as a Future Fellow of the Australian Research Council during 2012-2016. He is/has serving/served as Honorary/Visiting Professor for several elite Universities including Imperial College London (UK), University of Birmingham (UK), University of Hyderabad (India), and Tsinghua University (China).

Prof (Dr) Amit Konar
Professor, Department of ETCE, Jadavpur University, he is Fellow of Indian national Academy of Engineering, Fellow of West Bengal Academy of Sciences.In 2006, he was a Visiting Professor with the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Currently, he is the Founding Coordinator of the M.Tech. program on intelligent automation and robotics in Jadavpur University. He has supervised 15 Ph.D. theses. He has over 200 publications in international journal and conference proceedings. He is the author of eight books, including two popular texts Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing (CRC Press, 2000) and Computational Intelligence: Principles, Techniques, and Applications (Springer, 2005). He serves as the Associate Editor of IEEE transactions on systems, man, and cybernetics, part-a, and IEEE transactions on fuzzy systems. His research areas include the study of computational intelligence algorithms and their applications to the various domains of electrical engineering and computer science. Specifically, he worked on fuzzy sets and logic, neurocomputing, evolutionary algorithms, Dempster–Shafer theory, and Kalman filtering, and applied the principles of computational intelligence in image understanding, very large scale integration design, mobile robotics, pattern recognition, brain-computer interfacing, and computational biology. He was the Recipient of All India Council for Technical Education-accredited 1997–2000 Career Award for Young Teachers for his significant contribution in teaching and research.

Dr. Sandeep Singh Sengar
Professor in Computer Science at Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom. Before joining this position, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Machine Learning Section of Computer Science Department, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India and an M. Tech. degree in Information Security from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. Dr. Sengar’s current research interests include Medical Image Segmentation, Motion Segmentation, Visual Object Tracking, Object Recognition, and Video Compression. His broader research interests include Machine/Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image/Video Processing and its applications.

Dr Sikhar Patranabis
Prior to joining IBM Research, Dr Patranabis was a full-time staff researcher at VISA Research USA (Nov 2020-Dec 2021). He had also held positions as a postdoctoral fellow in the Applied Cryptography Group, ETH Zurich (Nov 2019-Oct 2020, hosted by Prof. Kenny Paterson), and as a research associate in the CrIS lab, IISc Bangalore (Sep 2019-Oct 2019, hosted by Prof. Arpita Patra). He received my B.Tech in 2015 and PhD in 2019 from IIT Kharagpur. He is a young associate of the the Indian Academy of Sciences (IASc) and the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), and serve on the Eminent Speaker Panel of ACM India. His research has also been recognized by an IACR best paper (by early career authors) award at ASIACRYPT 2022, an IBM PhD fellowship, and a Qualcomm Research Innovation Fellowship.

Prof (Dr.) Phillip G. Bradford
Associate Professor-in-Residence, Computer Science,
University of Connecticut Dr. Phillip G. Bradford is on the faculty at the University of Connecticut. He is the director of the computer science program at the University of Connecticut in Stamford. He is a computer scientist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Phil was a post-doctoral fellow at the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik, he earned his PhD at Indiana University, an MS form the University of Kansas, and a BA from Rutgers University. He was on the faculty at Rutgers Business School and the University of Alabama’s Engineering School. He worked for BlackRock, Reuters Analytics, founded a startup and worked with a number of early stage firms. He was a Principal Architect for General Electric. Phil has a deep belief in bringing real research to practice. This is the root of his entrepreneurial perspective. Phil has a handful of best-in-class results. His Erdős Number is 2.

Dr. Debashis De
Dr Debashis De is Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Director of School of Computational Science of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India. He received M.Tech from the University of Calcutta, 2002 and a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2005. He is Senior Member-IEEE, Fellow IETE, Life member CSI. He was awarded the prestigious Boyscast Fellowship by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to work at the Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK. He received the Endeavour Fellowship Award from 2008–2009 by DEST Australia to work at the University of Western Australia. He received the Young Scientist award both in 2005 at New Delhi and in 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey, from the International Union of Radio Science, Belgium. In 2016 he received the JC Bose research award by IETE, New Delhi. In 2019 he received Shiksha Ratna Award by the Govt. of West Bengal. He established the Center of Mobile cloud computing (CMCC) for IoT applications. He is Vice-chair of Dew Computing STC of IEEE Computer Society. He published in 320 journals and 200 conference papers, fifteen books, and filed ten patents. His h index is 33, citation 5400, Listed in Top 2% Scientist List of the world, Stanford University, USA. His research interest is Edge AI, IoT, and Quantum Computing.

Dr. Samanta works as Program Head and Assistant Professor at the Department of Computing and Information Technologies, Rochester Institute of Technology, Kosovo, Europe. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engg. from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, in SAR Image Processing. He is keenly interested in Interdisciplinary Research and development. He has experience spanning fields of SAR Image Analysis, Video surveillance, a Heuristic algorithm for Image Classification, Deep Learning Framework for Detection and Classification, Blockchain, Statistical Modelling, Wireless Adhoc Networks, and Natural Language Processing. He has completed six Consultancy Projects. Under his guidance, four students have accomplished their Ph.D. degrees. He has received funding of 8,110 USD under the Open Access, Publication fund. He received funding under the International Travel Support Scheme in 2019 for attending the conference in Thailand. He has received a Travel Grant to speak at conferences, seminars, etc. for two years from July 2019. He owns 22 Patents (4 Design Indian Patents and 2 Australian patents Granted, 16 Indian Patents published) and 2 copyrights. He has authored and co-authored over 250 research papers in an international journal (SCI/SCIE/ESCI/Scopus) and conferences including IEEE, Springer, and Elsevier Conference proceedings. He received “Scholastic Award” at the 2nd International Conference on Computer Science and IT Application, CSIT-2011, Delhi, India. He is a co-author of 13 books and the co-editor of 17 books, available for sale on Amazon and Flipkart. He has presented various papers at international conferences and received Best Paper awards. He is the author and co-author of 14 Book Chapters. He also serves as acquisition editor for Springer, Wiley, CRC, Scrivener Publishing LLC, Beverly, USA, and Elsevier. He is an IEEE Senior Member, an Associate Life Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI), and a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Prof. Matthew Chua
Prof. Matthew Chua is the winner of the prestigious Global Excellence Award 2024 (SMART Society, USA), as a distinguished leader in the field of AI and technological innovation in healthcare internationally. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Digital and Smart Health Office, Ng Teng Fong Centre for Healthcare Innovation, National Healthcare Group, to drive impact-driven Digital and AI transformation for the entire healthcare cluster. Matt is also currently an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics at NUS School of Medicine. He has also won data science competitions at the national level, clinching 3rd place for the Data VIZard at the Data Arcade Tournament 2022. He has also won the prestigious MINDEF Exemplary Innovator Award for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024. At NUS, Matt drives the research and lectures on AI and Tech for the advancement of Medicine Health. He has won prestigious research grants, amounting to more than S$8 million, from Ministry of Health, SG Enable, and internationally. He has also published more than 45 papers in prestigious peer-reviewed international journals, many of which are in Q1 tier journals, and is widely cited. He is also the Editor for PLOS One Journal. He is Doctor of Philosophy (National University of Singapore) and Graduate Certificate in Management of Technology (National University of Singapore) as well as Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honors (National University of Singapore)

Erik Cambria
Erik Cambria is a Professor at Nanyang Technological University, where he also holds the appointment of Provost Chair in Computer Science and Engineering, and Founder of several AI companies, such as SenticNet (https://business.sentic.net), offering B2B sentiment analysis services, and finaXai (https://finax.ai), providing fully explainable financial insights. Prior to moving to Singapore, he worked at Microsoft Research Asia (Beijing) and HP Labs India (Bangalore), after earning his PhD through a joint program between the University of Stirling (UK) and MIT Media Lab (USA). Today, his research focuses on neurosymbolic AI for interpretable, trustworthy, and explainable affective computing in domains like social media monitoring, financial forecasting, and AI for social good. He is ranked in Clarivate’s Highly Cited Researchers List of World’s Top 1% Scientists, is recipient of many awards, e.g., IEEE Outstanding Early Career, was listed among the AI’s 10 to Watch, and was featured in Forbes as one of the 5 People Building Our AI Future. He is an IEEE Fellow, Associate Editor of various top-tier AI journals, e.g., Information Fusion and IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, and is involved in several international conferences as keynote speaker, program chair and committee member.

Dr Gabor Benedek
Chief Innovation Officer & Co-founder, Lynx Analytics, Gabor is responsible for defining the methodological roadmap of Lynx’s predictive analytics consulting and product development departments. He leads the internal data science team and supports the business development. Gabor has been the co-founder of several other AI start-ups in Healthcare, Finance, Crypto, Telecom and Space Industries, contributing with creative application of state-of-the-art data science models. He received his PhD in 2003, worked as an Associate Professor at Budapest Corvinus University, author of one book and many scientific papers.
