Prof. (Dr.) Siddhartha Bhattacharyya

Prof. (Dr.) Siddhartha Bhattacharyya

Prof.  (Dr.) Siddhartha Bhattacharyya did his Bachelors in Physics, Bachelors in Optics and Optoelectronics and Masters in Optics and Optoelectronics from University of Calcutta, India in 1995, 1998 and 2000 respectively. He completed PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2008. He is the recipient of the University Gold Medal from the University of Calcutta for his Masters. He is the recipient of several coveted awards including the Distinguished HoD Award and Distinguished Professor Award conferred by Computer Society of India, Mumbai Chapter, India in 2017, the Honorary Doctorate Award (D. Litt.) from The University of South America and the South East Asian Regional Computing Confederation (SEARCC) International Digital Award ICT Educator of the Year in 2017. He has been appointed as the ACM Distinguished Speaker for the tenure 2018-2020. He has been inducted into the People of ACM hall of fame by ACM, USA in 2020.

Prof. (Dr.) Rajkumar Buyya

Prof. (Dr.) Rajkumar Buyya is a Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor and Director of the CLOUDS Laboratory at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and the founding CEO of Manjrasoft, a company commercializing innovations in cloud computing. A globally renowned researcher in Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, High-Performance Computing, and Software Engineering, he has authored over 625 publications and seven books, including the widely acclaimed Mastering Cloud Computing. With an h-index of 176 and over 166,500 citations, he is among the world’s most influential computer scientists and has consistently been recognized as a Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher. He is a Fellow of IEEE and Academia Europaea and has received numerous prestigious honors, including the IEEE Medal for Excellence in Scalable Computing, Elsevier Scopus Researcher of the Year, Oracle Cloud Architect of the Year, and the Mahatma Gandhi Award. Prof. Buyya has played a pioneering role in advancing cloud computing technologies, founded several leading IEEE/ACM conferences, served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, and continues to lead groundbreaking research in cloud computing, IoT, quantum computing, resource management, and sustainable distributed systems.

Prof. (Dr.) Pavel Bastl

Prof. (Dr.) Pavel Bastl

Prof. (Dr.) Pavel Bastl is a researcher and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Mechanics and Mechatronics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU). His research focuses on mechatronics, mechanical systems, automation, and intelligent engineering applications, with interests spanning the integration of advanced computational methods into modern engineering design and analysis. Dr. Bastl is actively involved in teaching, research, and interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge academia and industry, contributing to the development of innovative mechatronic systems and engineering technologies.

Mr. Snehashis Banerjee

Mr. Snehasis Banerjee is a researcher and technology leader at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Autonomous Systems, and Software Engineering. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), where his research focuses on AI and robotics. An active contributor to the professional community, he is a Senior Member of IEEE, ACM, and CSI, a Fellow of IETE, and has held leadership positions in several technical societies. His work spans AI-driven systems, intelligent automation, and applied research, complemented by a strong commitment to mentoring, innovation, and advancing industry–academia collaboration.

Prof. (Dr.) Subhadip Basu

Prof. (Dr.) Subhadip Basu is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata. An accomplished researcher in artificial intelligence, machine learning, bioinformatics, pattern recognition, and computational biology, he has made significant contributions to interdisciplinary research spanning computer science and life sciences. He has published extensively in leading international journals and conferences, supervised numerous doctoral and postgraduate researchers, and collaborated with renowned research institutions worldwide. Prof. Basu has received several research honors, including the UGC Research Award, and serves on the editorial boards and program committees of reputed international journals and conferences. His research focuses on developing intelligent computational methods for solving complex real-world problems in healthcare, bioinformatics, and data science.

Dr. Tanushyam Chattopadhyay

Dr. Tanushyam Chattopadhyay is a technology leader and AI researcher currently serving as the Practice Head – Computer Vision at Sirius Digitech. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, he has over two decades of experience in artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, image and video analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), and industrial AI. He has authored numerous research publications and holds an extensive portfolio of international patents, reflecting his contributions to AI-driven innovation. Prior to joining Sirius Digitech, he held senior research positions at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Research, where he led pioneering work in intelligent systems and applied AI. Dr. Chattopadhyay actively collaborates with academia and industry, serving as an invited speaker, mentor, and panelist, with a strong focus on translating cutting-edge AI research into scalable real-world solutions.

Mr. Samiran Gupta

Mr. Samiran Gupta is a distinguished public policy and technology leader with extensive experience in Internet governance, digital policy, and stakeholder engagement across the Asia-Pacific region. He currently serves as Vice President, Government and Intergovernmental Organization (IGO) Engagement – APAC, and Head of Stakeholder Engagement for South Asia at ICANN. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at X (formerly Twitter), where he led Global Government Affairs for India and South Asia, and at ICANN, driving multi-stakeholder Internet governance initiatives. With expertise spanning digital policy, telecommunications, technology regulation, and public affairs, Samiran has worked closely with governments, industry, academia, and civil society to promote an open, secure, and inclusive Internet. He is a frequent speaker at international forums and actively contributes to shaping Internet and digital governance across the region.

Mohit Jain

Dr. Mohit Jain

Dr. Mohit Jain is a Principal Researcher in the Technology and Empowerment (TEM) group at Microsoft Research India. His research lies at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Health, with a focus on developing low-cost, AI-powered healthcare technologies for underserved communities. His work includes smartphone-based medical diagnostic devices, LLM-powered healthcare assistants, and medical image analysis. Dr. Jain earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington, where he specialized in HCI and AI, and previously worked as a Senior Research Engineer at IBM Research India. Over the past decade, his research has advanced technology-driven solutions in healthcare, sustainability, education, and agriculture, bridging cutting-edge AI with real-world societal impact.

Prof. (Dr.) Subhajit Roy Chowdhury

Prof. (Dr.) Shubhajit Roy Chowdhury is a Professor in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, where he also serves as the Chairperson of the Centre for Human-Computer Interaction (CHCI) and Project Director of the IIT Mandi iHub. He has previously held academic positions at IIIT Hyderabad and Jadavpur University, in addition to serving as a Visiting Associate Professor at the University at Buffalo, USA, and a Visiting Scientist at the Indian Statistical Institute. His research lies at the intersection of biomedical engineering, embedded systems, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on biomedical embedded systems, neurodiagnostic and neurotherapeutic technologies, non-invasive medical devices, near-infrared spectroscopy, point-of-care diagnostic systems, and VLSI architectures. Prof. Roy Chowdhury has authored more than 170 research publications in leading journals and conferences and has supervised numerous doctoral and postgraduate researchers. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (FIETE), and an active contributor to interdisciplinary research that advances intelligent healthcare technologies and human-centered engineering.

Prof. (Dr.) Nirupam Chakraborti

Prof. (Dr.) Nirupam Chakraborti is a distinguished materials scientist and computational engineer internationally recognized for his pioneering contributions to materials informatics, evolutionary computation, and computational materials science. He has held faculty positions at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur and is currently associated with the Czech Technical University in Prague. His research focuses on integrating machine learning, artificial intelligence, genetic and evolutionary algorithms, and data-driven modeling to accelerate materials discovery, process optimization, and intelligent manufacturing. Prof. Chakraborti has authored more than 240 research publications, several influential books, and numerous invited articles on computational materials engineering and evolutionary optimization. His work has significantly advanced the application of AI and optimization techniques to metallurgy, additive manufacturing, materials processing, and engineering design. An internationally sought-after speaker and editor, he has played a leading role in promoting interdisciplinary research at the interface of materials science, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, fostering collaborations across academia and industry worldwide.

Prof. (Dr.) Siddhartha Bhattacharyya

Prof. (Dr.) Siddhartha (Sid) Bhattacharyya is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Florida Tech. His research focuses on model-based engineering, formal methods, machine learning engineering, and explainable AI for intelligent autonomous systems, cybersecurity, healthcare, human factors, and avionics. He leads the ASSIST (Assured Safety, Security, and Intent with Systematic Tactics) Lab, which develops methods to assure the safety, security, and performance of intelligent systems. Prior to joining Florida Tech, Dr. Bhattacharyya was a Senior Research Engineer at Rockwell Collins’ Advanced Technology Center, where he led research projects funded by NASA, DARPA, AFRL, and ONR. He has also collaborated with Honeywell, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, and MIT Lincoln Laboratory on model-based engineering and system analysis.
Prof. (Dr.) Mas Rina Mustafa

Prof. (Dr.) Mas Rina Mustafa

Prof. (Dr.) Mas Rina Mustaffa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Multimedia, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Her research expertise spans computer vision, multimedia retrieval, intelligent systems, digital image processing, pattern recognition, and multimedia analytics, with a strong focus on applying artificial intelligence to image understanding and multimedia computing. She has led and contributed to numerous nationally funded research projects in areas such as content-based image retrieval, deep learning, plant disease detection, smart agriculture, human action recognition, and multimedia analytics. Prof. Mustaffa has published extensively in leading international journals and conferences and has received multiple awards for research, innovation, and intellectual property. She has held key academic leadership roles, including Head of the Department of Multimedia at UPM, and actively contributes to the global research community through editorial, reviewing, and professional service activities. Her current research explores self-supervised learning, multimodal AI, computer vision, and transfer learning for real-world applications in healthcare, agriculture, and intelligent multimedia systems.
